Overview
"Pressure washing" gets used as a catch-all term, but it describes only one of the two methods a professional exterior cleaning company should be using. True pressure washing relies on water force to lift dirt off hard, durable surfaces — concrete driveways, sidewalks, curbing, brick and block. It is fast, effective, and completely wrong for a shingle roof.
The second method is soft washing: low pressure combined with cleaning solutions that break down organic growth chemically instead of blasting it off physically. Roofs, painted siding, stucco, screen enclosures and older wood all fall into this category.
Most Jacksonville properties need both. A typical exterior refresh here is a soft wash on the house and roof, and true pressure washing with a surface cleaner on the driveway, walkway and pool deck. Choosing correctly between the two on every surface is the difference between a professional job and an expensive repair.
What We Clean
From the roofline down to the curb. If it is on the outside of the building, it is probably on this list.
Vinyl, stucco, hardboard, fiber cement, brick and block — cleaned at the pressure the material tolerates. House washing details.
Asphalt shingle, concrete tile and metal, cleaned with a low-pressure process. Roof cleaning details.
Driveways, sidewalks, walkways, entryways, garage floors and curbing. Concrete cleaning details.
Paver driveways, patios, pool decks and walkways, including joint sand replacement. Paver cleaning details.
Vinyl and wood fencing, wood decking, screen enclosures and lanai framing.
Storefronts, offices, apartment buildings, HOA common areas, dumpster pads and parking areas.
Our Process
Same sequence whether it's one driveway or a full exterior package.
We identify every surface type, note existing damage, and check gates, outlets, screens and irrigation.
Landscaping is pre-wet, fixtures and outlets are covered, and delicate areas are flagged before any water moves.
Top down. Roof and upper siding first, then walls, then flatwork — so nothing clean gets re-dirtied.
Full rinse of the surface and surrounding landscaping, then a walk-through with you before we pack up.

In everyday use around Jacksonville the two terms are used interchangeably, and most companies advertising "power washing" and "pressure washing" are describing the same service. Technically, power washing uses heated water while pressure washing uses unheated water. Heat helps on grease and oil — dumpster pads, drive-thru lanes, restaurant back-of-house — and matters much less on a residential driveway.
It can, when the wrong pressure is used on the wrong surface. Too much pressure etches concrete, cuts lines into wood, drives water behind siding and strips granules from shingles. That is exactly why surface identification happens before the equipment comes off the trailer, and why a large share of residential work here is soft washing rather than high pressure.
Usually not, as long as we have access to the areas being cleaned and to an outdoor water spigot. Many customers leave a gate unlocked and we handle the rest. We will walk the finished work with you if you are home, or send photos if you are not.
A driveway alone is often under an hour. A full house wash on a typical single-story Jacksonville home usually runs two to four hours. Adding a roof, pool deck and screen enclosure can turn it into most of a day. We give you a time estimate with the written quote.
Working outdoor water, clear access to gates and side yards, vehicles moved off the driveway, and windows and doors closed. If you have loose siding, damaged screens, failing window seals or exposed outlets, tell us in advance so we can work around them.
